      Firmware ZIP format


      For a normal Arduino ESP32-S3 build, the ZIP should contain:

      



      bootloader.bin

      partitions.bin

      boot_app0.bin

      firmware.bin

      



      Default addresses:

      


      bootloader.bin → 0x0000

      partitions.bin → 0x8000

      boot_app0.bin → 0xE000

      firmware.bin → 0x10000

      



      A manifest.json can also be included for custom
      filenames or flash addresses.

      



      After flashing:
      the XIAO ESP32-S3 may not respond to the automatic RTS reset.
      If the new firmware does not start, disconnect/reconnect USB
      or power-cycle the board.
